The intersection of Grafton and North Carpenter Road is fully open. Grafton Road traffic has been restored in both directions.

North Carpenter, from Concord Drive to 500’ south of Grafton Road, is closed to northbound traffic. Local traffic only will be maintained southbound. Northbound and non-local traffic must use the posted detour. (West 130 via SR 303 or Grafton)

This will be the traffic pattern until late November or early December.

Previous update, April 25, 2019:

The morning of Monday, May 6 will find the traffic pattern changed for rush hour. Traffic will move onto the newly constructed pavement on Grafton and on North Carpenter Road north of Grafton.

Drivers coming from Boston Road will be able to travel south on North Carpenter, but will not be able to turn right at Grafton. They will be able only to turn left onto Grafton toward W. 130th.

Eastbound traffic on Grafton will be maintained. Westbound traffic will continue to be closed approximately 500 ft. east and west of the Grafton/N. Carpenter intersection. The detour remains W. 130th to Center Road to Pearl Road.

Drivers traveling northbound on North Carpenter will find the road closed from 500 ft. south of Grafton to the Grafton/N. Carpenter intersection. The detour will be Center Road to W. 130th to Boston Road.

This phase of construction is expected to last until late June. Motorists should avoid the area whenever possible.

Previous update, Mar 28, 2019:

Detour signs will be posted late March 31 for detours beginning April 1. Work will start on the northern half of the Grafton Road/North Carpenter intersection. Traffic will be maintained on Grafton Road only for local traffic in the eastbound direction. “Local traffic” means residents living in the vicinity of the construction zone. All through traffic must use detours.

Motorists traveling south from Boston Road will find Grafton completely closed during this phase of construction.
